This is a series of four attacks and four open hand blocks; high, middle, low, and the fourth attack and block changes for each excercise. After the fourth block the defender counters; the counter changes for each exercise. All stances are forward stances except where indicated.

Starting from a ready stance the attacker steps in to a right kamai position; the defender steps back with the left leg into a right kamai position. The attacker steps in with a left lunge punch to the face, then a right lunge punch to the body, then a left lunge punch to the groin, the fourth attach is described below. To counter, the defender steps back with the right leg and executes a left high open hand outside block, then step back with the left leg and executes a right open hand outside middle block, then steps back with the right leg and executes a left low open hand outside block, the fourth defense and counter is described below.

1. Attack: Lunge punch to the face.
Defense: Step back into a straddle stance at a 45 degree angle, execute a palm heel block with the right hand.
Counter: Punch to the ribs with the chamber hand.

2. Attack: Lunge punch to the chest.
Defense: Step back and execute an open hand middle block
Counter: Grab and punch to the ribs.

3. Attack: Lunge punch to the navel.
Defense: Step back and execute an open hand lower block.
Counter: Grab and hammer fist to the temple.

4. Attack: Lunge punch to the face.
Defense: Step back execute an open hand high block.
Counter: Grab and punch to the armpit/ribs.

5. Attack: Lunge punch to the chest.
Defense: Step back execute an open hand middle block.
Counter: Grab and punch to the eye (nukite).

6. Attack: Lunge punch to the navel.
Defense: Step back execute an open hand lower block.
Counter: Grab and upper cut to the neck or chin.
