Tout Ça Pour Toi

Nadège Mbadou is very nice. I love this song.

How Did I do?

Here is my New Year 2007 posting.

Ok. So, I’m going to do it. My new year resolutions. Committing them to blog will give me the ability to review them periodically rather than “conveniently” forgetting them. In no special order.

  1. Finish the MS degree program. (Only one course remaining. I’ve procrastinated long enough!) ¡Result: Done! :D
  2. Finish the tool shed. Result: Not Done :(
  3. Finish the bookcase in the sun room/study. Result: Not Done :(
  4. Begin remodeling my home office. Result: Not Done :(
  5. Use Linux as my primary OS. Result: Partially there :)
  6. Refine photography skills. Result: Ongoing :|
  7. Work on and strengthen relationships. Result: Still working at it :|
  8. Be serious and intentional about my faith. Result: Still working at it :|

I’ll try to do a quarterly update Result: Not Done :(

Well…not so good.

WordPress 2.7

I like the new admin interface a lot. I had been working on Drupal exclusively for the past several months. I decided to move this blog back to WP just as 2.7 was being released. I have always found releases for WordPress are usually solid so I didn’t bother to read up on it before installing 2.7. And I was not disappointed!

I was surprised at the extent to which the admin interface was reworked. But after about 2 days of getting to know my way around I realize although it is much more than I expected it is also much more than I had hoped for. For me, this interface is intuitive which results in easier navigation. I especially like the quickpress feature. I am sure I will discover more but I like what I see so far.

Photogallery is Working…Again!

Finally. I need to pay attention to this blog much more than I have in the past. I have been experimenting a lot and not adding much content. This year I will concentrate on the content.

I will be updating the theme. I like my first theme “musyoka” so I plan to modify K2 to look like “musyoka” with respect to colors and font style.
