[4/12/2008] It has been over a week now and it looks like the MySQL problems have been solved. Access is consistently fast. I am very happy because I have been with iPower for several years now and have been generally happy with the service. I have no plans or incentive to move to another provider now.

I really need to ditch my ISP. I am using iPower.com for hosting. For the past several months now I have been experiencing significant delays just getting to my sits. On average it takes 30 to 100 seconds just to bring up my page. I talked to iPower customer service and it seems there is a known congestion problem with MYSQL. I am dumbfounded that they are unable to fix this. They are “working” on it but are not able to give a resolution time. I have been dealing with this problem for almost 6 months now! I am glad this is not an e-commerce site because I would be dead in the water. If anyone can get to this blog and read this I would appreciate any recommendation on ISPs.
